Soon he remembers that he has forgotten his jacket and heads back to confront the young lady who delivered the message, that’s when he world turns upside down and his life is now in danger.

Nancy Fulda creates deep relationships within her characters, deeper than your normal father / daughter connections. Love, commitment, anger, frustration, resentment, a father who has missed out on much of his daughter’s childhood and lost his one true love due to his occupation. Backlash is an adventure that you will not regret jumping into.

I really did enjoy this short story, it was very gripping, full of action, suspense and the connection of the past, present and future.
