Boston medical examiner Maura Isles is almost finished with her day, this one no different from any other, until she hears banging coming from the morgue. Slowly she walks out of her office, listening to where the noise could be coming from. Soon she finds the noise coming from the inside of one of the coolers, she opens it to find that the Jane Doe, who had been brought in earlier in the day, was not indeed dead.
After rushing the woman to the hospital she is shocked when the woman calmly takes control of the hospital and holds several people hostage, including a pregnant policewoman, Jane Rizzoli, whose husband, Gabriel Dean, just happens to work for the FBI. Now Maura must work with Gabriel to hunt down the facts that will lead them to an end that no one could have imagined.
Warning: If you are one of those readers who likes to read the last few pages before you start, this will not give you an idea of how the story really is.
Vanish is the fifth book in the Rizzoli/Isles Series, a series that I have committed to reading all of the books and I have not regret in doing so. I enjoy each of the books so much that I will finish them in a few days time.

I LOVE Tess Gerritsen. I think she’s fantastic author. She never disappoints.
Of course, I’m also pretty biased because she lives in Maine, and I’m a supporter of anyone from this state.
I need to add her to my list…but dang doing these reviews has added so many new books to my already large to-read pile, I’m having a hard time getting to the books that I chose for myself to read. LOL, I still love doing the reviews, so I’m not complaining.
