Contest! – Night of the Living Trekkies…

Did you ever wonder what would happen if a zombie infestation took over a Star Trek convention?  Yeah, neither did I until I heard of Quirk Books new release Night of the Living Trekkies by Kevin Anderson and Sam Stall.  I recently received my review copy and am currently in the process of reading…a review will be posted soon.

I would have to say Odo. Who knows what you would need in the PAW? Having the truly universal tool would be awesome!

  2. Tony Faville says:

My answer does not count but I want to give an answer anyway. I would take an anonymous red shirt…no matter what happens, they are guaranteed to die before you. Can you say zombie bait?

  3. VetTech says:

First of all, what an awesome premise for a book :-D

In the event of a zombiepocalypse I would like to have Worf with me. He’s gotta be a hell of a body guard!

  4. Bayou Hunter says:

While I like (and wish I had thought of Tony’s answer) I will have to go with Data. He is immune to the disease, super strong and durable, doesn’t eat, and might be able to figure out a cure/treatment given time.

  5. I have to agree that a red shirt would make great zombie bait, I would want to have by my side The Doctor from Voyager. I would follow him into the holodeck and generate lots and lots of doctors and Need a Nickname Scotts for the zombies to attempt to attack while I made my escape.

  6. While Data is a good choice, I have to go with Seven of Nine. First, there’s an outside chance she could create some Borg to fight the zombies. Second, I’d be ok with her being the last thing I see before the zombies eat me.

  7. Jessica C. says:

Definitely, Jean-Luc Picard, because his sexy voice would be the best thing to listen to for calming me or to die to. Also he’s super smart and has great ethics and a natural leader, I totally would listen to whatever he told me to do.

  8. Sonja says:

Dr. McCoy. I want to go out with a hot, funny guy.

  9. Tiffany Christian says:

While I too think that Data would be a great choice, I think a better choice for me would would be Spock. He’s a complete package: able to think logically in a crisis, super strong during a zombie attack, creative enough to come up with solutions to both the overall crisis and any problems that come up in the short-term. And although he wouldn’t be immune to a zombie bite, I highly doubt he’d allow himself (or anyone with him) to get into a position of getting bitten. With Spock by his side, Kirk never lost. I should be so lucky.

  10. Ted Collins says:

My vote is Jadzia Dax. 100′s yrs of age. Fights like a Klingon. Hot! The symbiote Dax can occupy other bodies if the host becomes infected. Hopefully not losing it’s mind.

    Tough choice!

    Q is my runner up.
