Vacation…

To start, this is my first time visiting the world of bizarro fiction and to be completely fair, I am not sure I quite understood what was going on at times. But yet I kept reading, because while I was not always sure where I was going with this journey, the author did an exquisite job at painting the picture of where I should be. Traveling through the mind of Bernard was a roller coaster ride of emotions and Shipp created highly interesting characters to play off Bernard both in his mind and outside during real world interactions.
Ultimately, while I may not have completely understood all that this book had to offer. Jeremy C Shipp has a talent for putting words to paper and I have a feeling followers of bizarro fiction would love this book. It is well written and paints a vivid picture of a man’s journey to changing himself for the better.
My final rating will be based on my own thoughts, but please, remember I have never read any book like this and feel that if you are a fan of the bizarro style of writing Vacation is most likely something you would love.
